Watercolor portraits 2009-2013

In my first year at the Academy of Arts, I couldn't figure out how to work with watercolor. It's so capricious and wayward...!

But then, when I understood its essence, grasped how to use a spot or even a surprise that often occurs when you paint watercolor, that's when I fell in love with this wonderful tool and began to get great pleasure from working with it.

I painted these portraits from 2009 to 2013.
I hope I will find time and return to watercolors again.
